Sooooo... Let's figure out how this blogging thing works.
Hey, this is my first post in my new blog. I am out of school for the summer and looking for a job. It seems like no one is hiring and it sucks. So far I have submitted at least 6 applications and I have 1 interview. Grrrr...
I thought I would start something to keep my occupied until Clay Aiken's new CD and tour kick into gear. Yes, I'm one of those. Some people call us Claymates, Clayniacs, and sometimes other not so nice things. The truth is that we a great group of people who all appreciate the amazing voice of one Clay Aiken.
How did I become a fan of Clay Aiken you ask? Well, as you can see from the title of my blog, I come from the beautiful state of North Carolina. I was borned and raised in a town near Charlotte, NC and when season two of American Idol started I heard from a friend that a guy from NC was a contestant. I decided to check him out because it's not every day that someone from NC is on national tv. Clay Aiken is from Raleigh, NC, but he went to school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, which is not far from my hometown.
As soon as I heard Clay sing I was hooked. He has the most amazing voice. I watched every week to see how he would do. He hooked me with his voice, but he reeled me in with his wit and great personality.
Sorry, I can't figure out why the sound are video are off.
